Medina County Suicide Report

The Medina County Health Department is tracking the secondary impacts of the pandemic on the mental health and well-being of Medina County residents as the community transitions to endemic period following the Covid-19 pandemic.  Health department staff along with mental health service provides have identified five key indicators.

  • Mental Health related emergency department (ED) visits
  • Self harm related ED visits
  • Suicide deaths
  • Overdose related ED visits
  • Overdose deaths
