Masks & Face Coverings
The Ohio Department of Health has implemented new guidance for wearing cloth face coverings at work and in public to help slow the spread of COVID-19. This guidance is based on studies that show a significant proportion of people with COVID-19 lack symptoms and can transmit the virus to others in close proximity, through speaking, coughing, sneezing or other means.
However, it’s important to remember that wearing a mask does not make you invincible and you could still contract COVID-19. It will help prevent you from spreading the disease and should be used as a tool to protect others.
The Medina County Health Department is providing the following information as a resource, keeping in mind that it is subject to change as directives from the state evolve.
