The Medina County Health Department (MCHD) is actively involved in Emergency Preparedness Planning for our entire county. Emergency Preparedness Planning encompasses a wide variety of issues. This planning is not only specific to Bioterrorism or Pandemic Influenza, but also prepares us for responding to a wide range of disasters such as: natural disasters, severe weather conditions, environmental emergencies, chemical disasters, disease outbreaks, or mass casualties.
